Location filming shots and a video clip -- www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3012967/Hugh-Jackman-puffs-cigarette-shoots-ski-scenes-Eddie-Eagle-biopic.htmlBetween takes --In character --Bronson Peary seems like a tough one -- wearing no jacket in winter; cigarette dangling from his lips. Driving a snow plow ? A cool character - trudging on the snow with ordinary shoes? A cigarette moment? With "Eddie" ( in olive green ski suit and prescription glasses) -- I wonder if "Garmisch" is part of the storyline? According to the semi-fictional script, Bronson Peary trained Eddie in some parts of Europe. Garmisch is in the Bavarian Alps. For the video clip (showing part of the actual filming) and more photos -- please check out the link.

It's a little snowcat, used for grooming the snow on ski trails ie level the snow and make it more suitable for skiing. I suppose it must be very important to remove any ruts or bumps at the bottom of a ski jump. They have much bigger snowcats, and some of them go on very steep slopes. It's amazing to watch them head up the trails at the end of a day of skiing.

On February 22, director Dexter Fletcher tweeted that he expects to be in Germany/Austria for the nex 6 weeks.
It looks like they are on their last week or so, filming in Seefeld, Austria :
Translated by BING, from Austrian/German?

I wonder how he got to have this photo taken? He is not in skiing gear or wearing a helmet. How does one get to the top of a ski jump? Or was he riding a ski lift? Will there be shots of him doing some skiing with Taron as Eddie? Would love to see his form wearing skiing gear!
Beautiful background! Have you ever seen the whole range of the Alps from an airplane, especially during winter? It is one of the most fascinating views in the world - you can stare at the long mountain range ( which touches France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, etc) from above and be absolutely absorbed for a long time.
Hugh must be very thrilled to be in this area of the world!

Good morning, Wolverine! wolverine
Lol - I wonder where he is saying Good Morning ( or is it Guten Morgen?) from?
Given what looks like more exotic architecture in the backround building...and what you can sort of see in the reflection on his glasses, was this taken on the boat cruise in Istanbul?

I didn't realize at first that the man between Hugh and Taron is THE Eddie, the original Eddie the Eagle himself ( aka Michael Edwards)!
It must be exhilarating to see one's own life and exploits adapted to film!

I'm guessing that the locale for this photo is where EDDIE THE EAGLE may still be filming But why is he in very light clothes ? Jo

He still sounds a bit raspy - is this the first time we have heard him speak since his vocal issues in Istanbul? Or is that the natural raspiness when one speaks early in the morning Jo

A bit of miscellany --
From the Urban Dictionary :
Just wondering whether Hugh is playing a Brit in this movie ? He is supposed to coach Brit "Eddie the Eagle "( aka Michael Edwards) and trains him initially in some European ski resorts. Will Hugh speak with a soft English accent?

From the Daily Mail feedback section --
So, it looks like the Garmisch ski-jumping was historically accurate for EDDIE THE EAGLE. The recent filming was not simply to help reenact the Calgary Olympics. The Winter games at Calgary occurred from Feb 13-28, 1988.

Back to work ( this time in London?) for EDDIE THE EAGLE ? "Brought him to London on my flight?" She must be a flight attendant or a pilot? Nancy

Confirming that he is now in London for more filming. Presumably the filming in London will take more on a sound stage than outdoor ?

Is there a featured role for an actress in the movie?
