Hmm... will that brief clip ( Happy Birthday tweet to ZAC) be part of the second trailer? Hope we do get a real glimpse of the tap-dancing duo!

Was this a screen cap or an on-the-set photo taken while they were filming -- Will this scene be part of the second trailer? Btw -- Zac looks great. Hugh does not seem to be 19 years older than his co-star! Beautiful people both!! Jo

Another October celebrant --
Btw, Michelle and Zendaya were September-born while Keala celebrates her birthday in November.

Haha - Could there be a more ridiculous wig than Blackbeard's pompadour The first time he shaved his head ( The Fountain) it was a little shocking but by the time PAN came along, we had gotten used to his bald pate. His first scenes in Les Miserables also deglamourized him so much - but what an artistic triumph Actually, sequeing right off from the filming of PAN, I was a little apprehensive on how he might look in THE RIVER -- but that turned out to be one of his most masculine-ly engaging looks! Maybe it was being so close to him in person during the entire play, if one was seated by the "riverbank" Hugh has tried on so many hair looks, sometimes some more ridiculous than the others. He even permed his hair for OKAHOMA! and Leopold Hugh was actually looking good in DECEPTION ... but annoying as the self-centered Wyatt. His strong chemistry with the woman played by Michelle was excellent and provocative.

I really love his work in Deception because you can see how much fun he is having playing a villain. He always looks great and always puts so much heart in his performances but I can't help but poke fun at the Front Runner outfits and the wig Can't wait for the movie though, I love Vera Farmiga. As for TGS...well it looks like there were only few negative reactions so far and few positive. I just hope the second trailer is going to be better and released soon

I am hearing some excellent news about the soundtrack Grammy love, too? And could this be the key gatekeeper to an across-demos appeal of the movie... towards box office glory for THE GREATEST SHOWMAN?!! (And softly whispered -- could this be another step towards an EGOT ) Jo

Well, I can't disclose details but someone involved is very elated with the results of the project involving the soundtrack.

Ruby had a chance to talk to Hugh at the Live-read --
Yessssssssssss !!!
People are getting very antsy that the second trailer is very long in coming...although I hear there will be some unexpected publicity blasts soon... plus there is excellent news about the album from someone involved in the production of the soundtrack!

Jo He brought up Showman. He just busted out how excited he was for us to see Showman. Went on about the album and I did ask about the second trailer. He just kinda shrugged, soon. He is up to something else too. On a real high after the live read- he loved it.

A blogger writes on why people should see the movie, while tracing the long path that it took for it to be made ( although some aspects seem entirely speculative). www.nerdhq.com/what-we-know-the-greatest-showman/For one, it has always been a potential FOX project -- even when it was announced in 2009 as part of the defunct SEED future lineup ( Seed had a first-look deal with FOX or something to that effect). If you remember, it was actually announced an earlier release date ( Xmas 2016) before it was moved a year later to Christmas 2017. It is not as if Jackman and Gracey had this working concept which they pitched to various studios/production companies. But the producing and creative teams had to get a good working script and a completed/workshopped musical score together before a real business & artistic pitch can be made to the sponsoring studio which was FOX. Key date was the February 2016 reading with the FOX execs present. Also, at that time there was already a change in leadership at FOX which would of course require a review of ongoing and forthcoming projects. Even before Snider took over Jim G, the younger Murdochs in their first year had initiated a review of upcoming projects, so there was that, too. It seems that the February reading was the turning point in the approval process. Another key factor was the LOGAN film project. There was delay in finalizing the script and other creative stuff and Mangold can only start filming as late as May 2016. They completed filming mid-August. Hugh had to take the required break between movie filmings. But it is still a happy story -- hopefully, the next 60 days or so will be filled with the full publicity blast for this Christmas Day movie! PS:Forget Phantom Thread ( DDLewis) -- the first trailer has just been released and it seems DULL...DULL...DULL ( of course I am biased ) but if you compare the two debut trailers, which one would your rather see on December 25 Jo

The faux story on the reason as to why THE GREATEST SHOWMAN was rescheduled from Christmas 2016 to Christmas 2017 is ludicrous! The blogger simply copied what was bruited about and did not look closely into the facts. The release of LaLaLand had nothing to do with the postponement of the release date of SHOWMAN. *SHOWMAN could not have met the Christmas 2016 release date because the film project had not been greenlighted when they presented a reading to Fox execs in February 2016. No greenlight, no pre-production yet...no firm filming dates. *Even if the project had obtained its greenlight thereafter, Hugh Jackman was committed to the Wolverine 3 film project ( eventually re-titled LOGAN). LOGAN did not start filming till about May 2016 and completed principal photography only in mid-August 2016. It was said that Hugh had to work double-time and do some pre-prod for SHOWMAN on his free LOGAN weekends. After completing his last Wolverine movie, HJ had to take the required break between two filmings. Then the required long rehearsal period ( this is a spectacle musical) had to take place. *LaLaLand only started being noticed after the fall festival time in 2016. By that time, there was no way SHOWMAN could have released a movie that they had just started filming sometime in November 2016. So, it's pure imagination to speculate that competition from another musical was the reason for the postponement of the original release date to a year later Jo
