LOL - little boys are more gullible than little girls Remember Hugh's story of the little girl who snatched back her autograph book at the stage door when she found out he played "You're bad!" Gaston

Something similar happened to me. I was in Sydney in 2006 for the TBFO-Arena tour. We were at the Sydney Entertainment Center stagedoor ( literally behind the gate which separated outsiders from those having official business at the SEC). Hugh has just signed something for me...and I asked him a question. He went to the rest of the queue of autograph seekers and I thought he was either in a hurry or did not hear my question. I stayed on ... to watch him meet the other fans. A few minutes on, I was looking down when someone stood in front of me and asked " Did you want to ask me something?" It was Hugh who remembered and came back to where I was standing Jo

And my similar experience: after I saw The River on the MOST freezing cold January night, Hugh, all bundled up, of course came out to sign autographs. He was moving pretty quickly because of the cold. When he got to me, he had trouble with the metallic pen he was using. Instead of just signing any way he could, he stood there shaking it until he got the proper Ink flow, so that his signature would be legible. Also, I asked him a quesrion about his new dog, Allegra. He had trouble hearing me, but instead of moving on, he stopped, cupped his hand to his earr and said, "What's that"? I repeated myself and he touched my gloved hand and replied, "Oh, shes wonderful." Point was the time he took to make sure he understood my question. Something similar happened to me. Baz is impressed!
I remember during one of Baz'z interviews that he said Hugh Jackman is the most focused and dedicated professional he has ever worked with!

Hugh came up in a discussion about an unrelated topic. This comment made me smile. I totally agree.

Hamish Bowles, Vogue pre-eminent fashion editor and in the London social scene, writes an article where he talks of his fairly rare experiences with theatre in England. Among those he has seen -
How apt!

Thinking of everyone here while I was watching/listening to the commentary tracks on "Breaking Bad." When a character named Declan (a sexy looking guy with a bushy beard) showed up, there was a lot of joking about how he looked like HJ, and that Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul have man crushes on HJ. For comparison, here's the actor Louis Ferreira as Declan -- www.amc.com/shows/breaking-bad/talk/2012/11/louis-ferreira-interview

That remarkable photo taken by JesseDitmar first appeared in the New York Times retrospective article on Hugh Jackman as he ended his tenure as Wolverine in the film LOGAN. It was published on February 15, 2017. The photo is a great favorite with many fans! Glad he shared his one-on-one experience with Hugh! Excellent New York Times article/interview re Hugh Jackman and saying Goodbye to "Wolverine" -- Hugh Jackman, ahead of the release of “Logan,” his latest, and possibly last, portrayal of Wolverine, the Marvel superhero he has played since 2000. Sir Trevor Nunn was interviewed in Shanghai for a recent revival of CATS. Towards the end of the interview ( full interview posted in the Broadway section) -- And Hugh is making full use of his training! It's evolving that he is now being recognized for his versatility...and his next 2 movies ( Front Runner and Bad Education) will showcase his acting skill further. If I can infer from various posts on BWW -- they are more interested about the stage actor's skills as singer and dancer. Maybe because on stage the close-ups ( which showcases the facial and body acting) are not as recognized as the singing and the dancing talent ( at least as far as musical theatre talent is concerned). The recent stunt casting with singers is not exactly a recognition of the value of the acting skill. It is only with straight plays that dramatic or comedic acting becomes the focus of audience attention... I think Trevor Nunn gives excellent advice- be a true triple-threat and it will take one to the heights that it did to someone like Hugh Jackman! It looks like the mentoring that Trevor did with Hugh was the very lucky part of his rise to the attention of international audiences ( eventually Hollywood and Broadway). After SUNSET, there was OKLAHOMA! A British movie directed by Trevor will be part of the Toronto festival. Hope they do have a chance to meet up.
