He was greeted by Chinese fans at the airport, one of whom shared the same flight with him and saw One-Night-Only, too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHCtahRlC7oHe's learned a few Chinese words ( "Hsieh, hsieh" and "Ni hao")

Okay. I have one question. How can he do an almost-three-hour show, then fly for don't-know-how-many-hours, then greet fans LOOKING YOUNGER? What does he DO during those flights? ? smiley-signs002 Okay, so that was two questions. Alma PS: Thanks for the video, Jo.

From a Chinese website -- More photos and a video clip of an appearance on Chinese TV! Hugh speaks Chinese -- LOL - only a few words! ent.qq.com/a/20131015/019617.htmHugh seems at home in any place and in any culture even if he can only speak a few words in the vernacular. Of course, it is related to his job as an actor. But I think he loves the experience and, at heart, is a true tourist ( and I mean this in a very positive light -- the desire to embrace what is different from your own culture and homeplace)! Jo

There are still occasional interviews that come out re THE WOLVERINE ( maybe this time, for purposes of the release of the home video via BluRay or DVD?). But Hugh is such an articulate and disarmingly honest person, that each interview gives you more personal insights. For one, it helps you to understand better how he regards his movie character Wolverine and why it can continue to play an important role in his career! www.dailystar.co.uk/movies/350975/Q-A-Hugh-Jackman-talks-Wolverine-dieting-and-X-Men-Days-Of-Future-Past-The above release dates for the UK. That near-accident for the train scene was very scary, because he could have broken his neck and suffered serious, even career-ending consequences. Jo

Interesting article on whether superhero actors/actresses can still be superstars without their superhero movies. I am reproducing only the top 6 -- please check out the rest via the link.popwatch.ew.com/2013/11/17/thor-batman-superman-iron-man-hollywood-heroes/Hugh's trifecta success in the last 12 months seemed to have really created a very strong impression on his versatility and box office winnability. I wonder if DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will finally be the XMEN franchise's first really superhit -- maybe a billion dollars at the worldwide box office, if the movie has the top two superheroes in its cast (per the above article)? No mention is made of Hugh's stage career. Will his involvement on Broadway, if protracted, affect his box office appeal in Hollywood advsersely? But Hugh is much more savvy now in balancing his film and stage career and even in the type of movies he does. Jo

What a lovely surprise for Hugh and the movie The Wolverine --
Didn't Fukuyama (where they filmed the scenes outside Tokyo) give Hugh honorary or special ambassador honors after the filming, if I recall right?
I wonder if Hugh will be in Tokyo for a possible premiere for DOFP near that date?
EDIT: It seems that when Hugh was given tourism ambassador honors of Fukuyama that he had been told that a special rose will be named for Wolverine. Fukuyama is known as the City of Roses. But has the rose already been grown or will its first blooms be seen only this May?

One of Hugh's physically-difficult stunts. When he came home early from filming, he had to admit to Deb that he had an accident while filming ( head bump?) on the train scene. Deb was not happy about that.
