I really like the first poster, but I'm not so sure about the second one.

A six-second tweaser from James Mangold has been unveiled, as he promised, prior to the release of the full teaser/trailer on March 26. www.worstpreviews.com/headline.php?id=27858Some people recognized Famke Jansen from one of the flashing images. Maybe a Jean Grey cameo? Jo

It looked like some dream scene...maybe a flashback, memory? Or a hallucination? Now I am curious

That second poster looks fan made, like crude Photoshop, but it's on the MTV website, so maybe it's real. I also noticed Famke Jansen in the images. It looked like the scene in X3 where he kills her. Maybe a flashback like klenotka said.

I wonder. - in the dramatic climax in X3, Jean was on the left and Logan on the right, bits of his skin being seared off. But in the teaser image, Jean is on the right--so I don't think it's the death scene. Looks highly intense and interesting, though.

Ellen, I agree with you, this looks like a different scene... and I'm glad. Jean Grey looks beautiful here, maybe it's a flashback/romantic scene?
Have a good night's rest and a very happy Passover!

On to the next round ;D From coping with miserable naysayers of Les Mis ( I wish I could have sliced and diced them -- I am not as saintly as Valjean -LOL) -- to the now-excitable comments of fanboys everywhere > But at least the comic book geeks are giving this one another chance, after dissing ORIGINS ( and leaking it, too), it seems, from all the feedbacks to the two teasers. It looks like FOX is now experimenting with slow motion releases of the goodies - first a 6-second teaser, followed by the extended 20-second teaser...and a full trailer ( hopefully) by today, March 27. What a way to revive interest in WOLVERINE ;D I guess the geek love for him has been fused into every comic book nerd's bones like adamantium Jo

The discussions on Ain't It Cool News on the two new trailers seem informative, insightful in terms of analyzing the XMEN lore, and even provocative -- those fanboys have changed! I used to dread reading the rather juvenile comments -- the tone of discussions have become more interesting to read. www.aintitcool.com/node/61673How's this for fanboy humor KilliK•6 hours ago − I get it. The movie starts as a Les Miserables/Wolverine crossover. That's why Jackman appears as a homeless dirty bum, he is still playing Jean Valjean. Then he shaves and he is revealed to be the Wolverine. Javert watch out for those claws.LOL - some fanboys did see Les Miserables ;D Jo

I have just re-read the other thread on the WOLVERINE (XMen section) series -- *I had posted sometime in September 2012 something about Wolverine's fascination with bullet trains in the comic book and I had wondered if there will be some scenes of Wolverine with the bullet train. LOL - there seems to be, based on the trailer, but I never thought he would be on top of it, fighting for his life *Interesting to re-read the chat with Hugh and James Mangold, with Ryan Penagos, one of the marketing guys at Marvel -- Do the trailers now evoke some of these discussions? Here's an analysis from a film site as to whether the trailer (s) have further whetted the appetite for a Wolverine movie further or not --

Hugh shares his thoughts on the trailer, on video with MTV -- www.mtv.com/news/articles/1704484/the-wolverine-trailer-hugh-jackman.jhtmlHere's partial transcription of the video interview -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exclusive: Hugh Jackman Digs Into 'The Wolverine' Trailer 'X-Men' actor talks to MTV News exclusively about the new preview. By Kevin P. Sullivan (@kpsull) , with reporting by Josh Horowitz (@joshuahorowitz) . It takes all of a few seconds of Hugh Jackman discussing "The Wolverine" to see just how passionate the actor is about his alternate mutant persona. With the latest movie to feature the Marvel fan favorite, Jackman is exploring a deeper, much more personal side of Wolverine than we've ever seen before. Hugh Jackman Breaks Down 'The Wolverine' TrailerThe story of Wolverine's exploits in Japan has long been one revered by Jackman and fans alike. "It's dear to their hearts. It's one of the most intriguing, interesting, and actually one of the most dominant parts of the comic book lore, Wolverine in Japan or the Japanese Saga or the Samurai Saga, it's been called," Jackman said. "I think it is, from the very first 'X-Men' movie I did in 1999, I saw this comic book and I remember saying to Lauren Shuler Donner, our producer, 'This is a great movie.' " So when Jackman sat down exclusively with MTV News' Josh Horowitz to discuss the first trailer for "The Wolverine," which premiered Wednesday, he could barely contain his excitement for the new movie, its big action scenes and the new characters that pop up. On Viper "Viper is a badass, for someone who plays Wolverine, who is pretty badass. ... She's not your girl next door. You're going to end up kind of loving every minute she has on screen." On the Bullet Train Sequence "It is insane. It was insane to shoot it. It was, again, one of those brilliant ideas. One of the most emblematic things about Japan is the bullet train. I can't go on the bullet train without any incident. It was hairy, shooting that stuff. To re-create what that is like, the kind of winds at 300 miles per hour, let me just say, looking back at some of the footage, I thought, 'It's time for a facelift.' " On Jean Grey "There's no doubt that the most important relationship in his life is — we've seen through the movies — is his relationship with Jean Grey. Yes, we saw her die at the end of 'X-Men: The Last Stand,' but in this movie, she has a presence, which I think is vital to the movie, particularly for him confronting the most difficult thing within himself." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Somewhere he jokes that after seeing his face "stretched"at 300 miles per hour, a facelift looks interesting. It is starting to look like there will be heavy promotion for The Wolverine!! Jo

Playing catch-up today! Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do. Been off here for a week WOW! The first time that 50 recent posts wasn't enough! I can't watch 3D so James Mangold has assured me that it will also be 2D. James Mangold @mang0ld 15h
@grannymumantoog Fear not, Granny. It will be out in 2D as well. And the 2D will look amazing. I'm loving the two trailers and the MTV interview. Hope someone puts that one up on YouTube since my recorder wasn't able to record it. Sue
