Ignore the stranger in the photo on the left -- and focus on Hugh and Deb only This must have been at the opening of THE FERRYMAN on October 21, 2018. Laura Donnelly, his co-star in The River was the lead actress for this London transfer.

I saw Moulin Rouge before the pandemic - pure spectacle.
I wish it had more heart!

No photo with Aaron Tveit (Enjolras in Les Mis movie) because he was out and his understudy performed the role.

Three Aussies! Mark Pennell was once a producing partner with Deb and Hugh in Australia in the early days, under the banner of DHM. I wonder if he is a guest of Hugh for the show or in NYC? Jo

I wonder why it is such a short run?

It looks like its next stop is in LA, after a short run in NYC.
I wonder if the show will qualify for a Tony for this season? It had a previous off-Broadway run in the past.

Also, in support of Jerry Zaks! Due to the pandemic delays, he ended up having 2 major musicals one after another. Rob McClure will be one of Hugh's stiffest competition for the Tony Best Actor award Jo

Sadly, Hugh Jackman has been the object of negativity with some Bway purists because some even think he is simply stunt casting and also because he comes ( incorrectly perceived ) from the movies --
but which famous B'way star has spent as much time as Hugh supporting other shows?!

It looks like Hugh went to see Shuler Hensley's new musical role, at PaperMill.

So I gather they still have a mask policy in New York theaters? Ours are long gone in GA.
