Deadline.com also thinks that Hugh Jackman's portrayal may be the IT factor to rouse interest in this movie. deadline.com/2015/07/pan-adventure-trailer-similar-to-hall-h-footage-1201476704/Don't read the readers' reactions -- too much cynicism for a movie that is not clearly intended for them -- it ain't for fanboys, as this tale was never inspired by the comic books -- only from one of the most respected literature sources, from author James Barrie! And for the male audience among whose boyhood heroes included a kid who only wanted to fly and not grow up. Plus it is really meant for the younger 'uns whose wide-eyed wonder will likely be fired up even more once they see the movie. And probably enchant the parents or elder brother/sister who may have to take them to the date with Peter Pan smiley-happy082 Jo

I haven't read AICN ( Ain't it Cool News) for sometime now. I used to read it more for superhero movie reactions (and occasional other movies such as Les Mis!)... It's the readers comments which can border on the outrageous but very interesting and show a different kind of humor. Some people hate that site...while others like its cheekiness. Check out the readers's comments on the new PAN trailer -- www.aintitcool.com/node/72369?utm_source=full-feed&utm_medium=feed&utm_term=coolnews&utm_campaign=1310_RSStill outrageous, still with a sly sense of humor, but at least NOT in the same tone of those who cry "Flop!" or "Unnecessary reboot!" or "Why is Tiger Lily white?". Hopefully, this will be a typical reaction -- Interesting that in many of the feedback sections of film sites, Hugh's over the top portrayal is a source of wonder and admiration for its campiness and an exciting turn for Jackman. It's confirmed -- PAN will open in Australia on September 24! That would be the world premiere then ?! Will it just be a world premiere or will the run start from that date? Two Aussies in the lead -- Hugh and Levi! www.9jumpin.com.au/show/today/videos/4358845085001/At 1'29" Will Hugh be in Australia then? He will probably be at the start of the media junket for PAN by that time. Other key openings will be October 9 in the USA and October 16 in the UK ( where the tale originated and where this movie was filmed). Will China allow its release to the movie audiences there? Jo

Blackbeard is looking like a dandy, especially in the costume sketch. Hugh probably suggested a change in footwear

Assuming the ladies ( Rooney Mara, maybe Amanda Seyfried, maybe Cara Delavigne) can join the boys during the premieres, this is going to be one of the most good-looking casts assembled

Someone on IMDB ( he was the one who had advance word on the first two trailers, as he worked in the theater distribution industry) said that the narrator/voiceover is Amanda Seyfried. Initially, I did not associate the voice with her, as I thought she usually has a higher-pitched speaking voice when interviewed ( and she is classified as a soprano when singing) but upon listening to the clip a few more times, it does sound like Amanda!
I hope she can join some of the media junkets with Hugh et al.

The accent sounds similar to Lady Sarah Ashley.

In the first trailer, Amanda did have a British accent, when she was vocally portraying Peter's mother. In the third trailer, she was not speaking with a Brit accent ( I could be wrong) and her voice was a little lower-pitched than her speaking voice in interviews. I guess that makes her sound a little more husky, like Nicole Jo

We'll probably have to create a separate thread for the actual premieres ( assuming PAN will premiere in a number of cities) as we will likely get many accounts and photos of the events. But as of now -- here is information on one particular premiere slated in October. www.cornucopia-events.co.uk/red-carpet-film-premieres/
This is still to be confirmed!
*It is close to Hugh's birthday.
*Release date for the UK is on October 16. This is a key premiere event because the story is inspired by a British literary gem ( Peter Pan by James Barrie), the movie is helmed by Brit director Joe Wright, and the movie was filmed in England.
*There are four slated premieres at Leicester Square for that date. Which one will be confirmed for that particular date. Leicester Square is going to be very crowded that evening.
*Prior to this date, there are likely two other key premiere dates for PAN - on or before September 24 for Australia, and before October 9 in the USA.

Levi is a beautiful child who will soon morph into a teenage celebrity. They must grow them extraordinary well in the waters surrounding OZ PS: Someone has noted that he reminds people of the teenage Leo DiCaprio.
