Maybe we can start setting up a different thread on various fan comments/observations/sharing of experiences... and/or requests ( such as info request or ticket exchange/sale offers) ... and maybe leave the main thread on The Music Man to discussions about the show itself, including info or news about its development and run? Amazing how the coming revival also seems to cut across demographics -- just like The Greatest Showman!

Jo I think an INFO-TICKET thread makes some sense.

We all wish we could do the same - LOL! Are you referring to Frances Tran’s tweet? Or what?

I had to reply to some wrong info on Hugh's tour from some people who delight in dissing him on BWW. I don't understand the hate unless it really masks extreme jealousy! Before the following reprint, someone outrightly said he/she doesn't understand the Hugh Jackman "adoration" - in reference to the brisk sales for The Music Man.
In this thread, someone already corrected another misimpression -- and I piped in to support the one who corrected the wrong impression on the financial success of Hugh's tour.

Interesting Twitter exchanges ( already quite a number of replies) on the suitability of Hugh as Harold Hill --
Keep opening the thread responses.

Hey, what's your queue/waiting room story I didn't leave it even if I had 40 minutes before the ticket-selling starts and had to go into the Waiting Room ...and despite their saying that my place will be held for me I was not ever going to risk it - LOL! Jo

On the other hand, BWW posters also acknowledge the strong appeal of Hugh Jackman as a stage performer --

You may want to take a look at availabilities around the day you want to see it, in case you are unable to get tickets for your choice of date(s)

I've checked a few dates during the busier periods in NYC - from September to year-end. Why is it that the seating charts are showing that it is the more expensive seats in the orchestra that are taken compared to the relatively less-expensive seats ( side and/or to the back). Maybe part of is because many people have tweeted that they are seeing the show -- *to celebrate a birthday *to celebrate other important events like anniversaries *it was a great bonding occasion ( mostly for females) *it was given as a gift to commemorate an occasion *those coming from overseas feel that excellent seats are justified, given that it will be worth the financial and physical effort to see a Broadway show *it is first time for some -- first time to travel overseas, first time to go to NYC, first time to see a Broadway show! *er… some say they want to see Hugh Jackman up close Hope the production does meet expectations!
