The clip shows a part of the marquee of the Winter Garden Theatre which is hosting today's Tony Awards show.
Not sure if his spotting of Hugh is correct. Presumably he is still in London?

Row BB or most of its row seems to have been eliminated presumably because of the Actors Equity distance requirement from stage (pandemic-related).
In many cases most of Row A seems to have become the new front row.
The situation needs to be verified with Telecharge?
PS: The elimination of front rows or even the first 2 rows can happen even under normal conditions - this happened to TBFO when the first 2 rows were eliminated ( supposedly due to some technical issues in the staging), leaving Row AA as the new front row.

Maybe because the stage of the Winter Garden sorts of slopes in the middle towards the audience ( it is a very wide theatre so maybe the reason for this is to afford better sightlines for those seated on the sides) -- they had to eliminate the middle seats in Row BB? Jo

If you view the page of let's say a February date ( the tweeter erased the exact date but he mentioned February) -- you can see how part of Row BB has been eliminated ( they used to have the whole Row BB as front row) -- www.telecharge.com/ticketsearchresults.aspx?ProductId=12924Hmmm-- I noticed that they have raised prices Jo

I looked on a Sunday afternoon show in May and a seat in middle orchestra row D was $614! 🤯

If one purchased tickets from Telecharge when they first started selling them (late 2019), prices for this location (Row D) was cheaper by about $ 50. If you check the secondary market sellers ( Stubhub, the most reliable and most sought) --a Center Orchestra ticket for Row F Sunday matinee in May is quoted at $4,375 (excl fees). www.stubhub.com/the-music-man-new-york-new-york-tickets-5-8-2022/event/104338978/That is why it is often referred to as the hottest ticket in town. Not sure why the premium seats are relatively sold out for most dates -- was it the avid Jackman/maybe Foster fans? was it fans of The Music Man, with Robert Preston? was it tourists ( domestic & overseas) giving themselves a treat when they travel ( maybe for the first time since the pandemic) who grabbed these expensive tickets? was it gift recipients for a special occasion to be celebrated? However, since it seems that many of the tickets are also held by secondary sellers ( it looks like they all draw from the same inventory), the secondary market prices may come down closer to the date of the show, if they remain unsold. Will The Music Man take part in this?
Will Hugh have the time and energy to be in a chat room after every performance (if I understood correctly what is on offer?)

Btw, if you want to reconfirm your ticket(s) -- you can either log-in and check on your "My Account" OR if that doesn't work ( Telecharge has some issues re overseas transactions, confirmed by the IT Dept of Telecharge itself) you may want to go to this Page -- www.telecharge.com/Broadway/The-Music-Man/TicketAnd look at the lower left hand side -- Click on "Order Status" -- to reconfirm your ticket order.Given the many changes/rescheduling ( at their or your own instance) -- this is an assurance that you have your most current ticket information right. You may also want to print it - in case there is a problem when you enter the theatre ( very remote happening). Jo

Update --
Do check on the height of the stage at The Winter Garden if you have difficulty watching from front row.

Btw, if you already have existing tickets which are lower-priced or identically-priced minimum, you can ask Telecharge ( by phone) if you can exchange them for the new Row AA ( Left/Right Orch). I am not sure if they allow downgrading - such as having a higher priced-ticket changed to the lower-priced ticket. The new offer for select 8 seats for every performance could be a new promotional strategy to attract more ticketbuyers?

The Music Man will have fans who have seen Hugh perform but also those who might remember the Robert Preston movie?

It seems the veteran theatregoers on BWW prefer watching it from a distance because they want to have a full appreciation of the sets. Those who favor seeing the stars more close up want to be close to the stage, even on front row. Those like me who are petite in height ( aka not tall) -- have another reason for wanting to sit close to the stage Jo

The giddy feeling is partly excitement that the long wait is over... and the cast announcement/start of rehearsals are very reassuring. We went through 2 rechedulings due to pandemic delays. There was a bump in the road when the Rudin debacle came up. Then the uncertainty on when exactly Broadway was ready to re-open! And of course our initial excitement when the show was first announced followed by the sale of tickets 2 years ago! Whew Now things seem to be moving fast
